The Sea Wolf is Zodiac's most important and iconic watch design. First released in 1953, it is one of the watches that has defined the modern dive watch. Featuring a rotating bezel, large lumed markers and hands, and a steel bracelet, it had all of the elements needed for a diver. It was also the first watch marketed to consumers rather than specialists, with dive specific features. The modern Super Sea Wolfs draw directly from the original, but with updated sizes, specs and an eye for color and style.
The Skin diver is the truest to the original design, with a 39.5mm case and milled steel bezel. Though larger than vintage references the case is properly compact for a retro feel, and boasts 200m of water resistance. The dial also retains the original's distinctive design with large triangular plots and dauphin hands with plenty of lume. For a unique, but classic diver, the Sea Wolf Skin is a great option.
Powering the Super Sea Wolf is the STP 1-11 caliber. This Swiss-made automatic movement features 26-jewels, date (if used), swan-neck regulator, hand-winding, hacking seconds, a power reserve of 44hr and a frequency of 28,800bph for a smooth sweeping seconds hand.
